About Lara’s Trends
Lara’s Trends is a Canadian company founded in year 2006 with main focus on hand knitting designs
for knitting yarns carried exclusively by Headwater Wool.
Most of designs by Lara’s Trends are seamless garments with shapes including waist
lines, bust and other common elements of classical sewing.
The main motto of founder of this company, Larisa Vilensky, is hand knitting becomes a true
skill when knitted parts are required sewing with minimal effort.
Main features of Lara’s Trends hand knitting designs are:
top-down raglan shaped tops,
short rows for shaping neck and sleeve
openings and increasing or decreasing to shape bust or waist line.
Larisa Vilensky shares her tips in hand knitting on Creative Festival twice a year;
as well she runs various workshops at Headwater Wool store in Orangeville.
